Tonda opened in the East Village earlier this week and although we haven't made it there yet, early reviews look promising. We hear the restaurant features a $30,000 slow-rotating 1,000-degree wood-burning pizza oven in the center of the space. If that's too intimidating, there will be 26 outdoor seats when the warm weather arrives. You can check out the menu here.
